So that’s a year gone. My little baby isn’t a little baby any more. It’s with a little sadness, a lot of melancholy, a heap of excitement and a heart brimming I’m wishing my baby a happy first birthday. He is without doubt the most relaxed baby. He rarely cries. I do appreciate this. Only… Continue reading Soosie Soo is no longer a baby
As the boys’ birthdays approach I’ve been talking to Roo about what a birthday is and why it’s special. Today we went to buy some balloons, toot too la loots (party blowers) and general trashy birthday merch. On the way I said to Roo it’s three whole years since he came out of my tummy.… Continue reading A view from the inside
The Dog is nearly 20 weeks old, 5 months nearly. For about four weeks he’s been flapping at food, trying to grab when we are eating, showing signs of wanting to eat. I was going to start next week but I had some ripe pears and thought…why not. He’s been chewing his fists, he has… Continue reading The Dog’s dinner
So, The Dog is four months ten days. He’s changing every day. He’s becoming so very big and grown up so very quickly. The Pob keeps saying ‘look mummy he’s got hair’ it’s definitely growing now, blondey but not as white blonde as his brother was. He is leaning forward, wanting to sit, wanting to… Continue reading The Dog’s four monther
Over the past few days The Dog has been wanting to sit forward or up to watch what’s going on. He’s been watching The Pob play. So I put him in his play station. He loved it, loved watching things around and being upright. This was his first ever sit in it.
The Dog has found his feet. Beautiful boy. Where will they take him I wonder…
The Dog adores milky muzzies to snuggle. Having firmly opted out of a dummy (his choice) he’s a muzzy sucker. Snoozing at lunchtime in his swinging chair.
Today The Dog is three months old. Officially not a newborn baby. Wow. I miss my newborn baby. Hours are seconds with my boys and time is slipping. But every second I adore them. Even if I’m revoltingly tired. So at three months. The Dog is a super smiler. And chuckles. He’s learning to laugh,… Continue reading 2013 365 13th August ‘no more newborn’ The Dog’s 3 monther
Today was a huge milestone for The Dog. He rolled…and got stuck! He’s been rolling on his side for a week or so but today he made it all the way to his tum only to get stuck and cry so Daddy rolled him back. He’s growing so unbelievably fast. Very proud Mummy!
I love this picture of my mum and The Dog. Taken in a coffee shop in Sudbury.
