These boys adore each other. There is nothing quite like seeing the love your children have for each other, their eyes sparkle at each other. Yesterday, MrSlender picked The Pob up from pre school. He asked ‘where’s mine brother?’ As soon as they see each other after a pre school day they just beam and… Continue reading 2013 365 1st October
Over the past few days The Dog has been wanting to sit forward or up to watch what’s going on. He’s been watching The Pob play. So I put him in his play station. He loved it, loved watching things around and being upright. This was his first ever sit in it.
The Dog has found his feet. Beautiful boy. Where will they take him I wonder…
Here is my chocolate orange Mary Berry bake in action. I have to say it tasted awesome! We had a little party for Lucy for her 32nd birthday involving bug hunts, trampoline jumping, fish and chip eating and The Pob declaring ‘I coont want my ice cream mummy, it’s rubbish’ at the dinner table…
The Dog adores milky muzzies to snuggle. Having firmly opted out of a dummy (his choice) he’s a muzzy sucker. Snoozing at lunchtime in his swinging chair.
This afternoon we went for a ramble in Campton woods amidst the carvings. Played pooh trunks sticks on the bridge and just had a nice pootle. With Aunty Tamie and Uncle Eddie, The Coleys and Jamie and Martha. The Pob is chuffed to have his Aunty and Uncle here.
Today I went to Tesco and bout a Thomas tilt and balance scooter for a bargain £15. The offer wasn’t on online, only instore. I love Tesco! I’ve been wanting to get one for a while, I worry, with lack of scooting or cycling areas at home that he won’t ‘get it’. We still have… Continue reading 2013 365 20th August ‘the boy can scoot’
This morning we went for breakfast with Tam (MrSlender’s sister) and her husband, Edd. They live in Melbourne, Australia. Even though we haven’t seen them for two years and, with two small children, it’s hard to regularly Skype, it’s just the same. I think that’s when you know you’ve married in to the right family!… Continue reading 2013 365 19th August ‘a morning coffee’
Tonight is the last night Daddy is in Ibiza (ruined!). So me and my boys snuggled up for a treat at bedtime and watched some Baby Jake on the ‘highpad’ in The Pob’s bed. They even held hands. They adore each other. Love my boys hugely.
With Daddy in Ibiza we needed a bit of company so came to Granny and Grandpop’s. I want to make sure I capture all the lovely times The Pob and The Dog have with their Grandparents. Here there are having some snuggles… And a snoozey one of The Dog at bedtime..
