Over the past few days The Dog has been wanting to sit forward or up to watch what’s going on. He’s been watching The Pob play. So I put him in his play station. He loved it, loved watching things around and being upright. This was his first ever sit in it. Advertisements
The Dog has found his feet. Beautiful boy. Where will they take him I wonder…
This week we had lots of outdoor time. It was mums birthday on 17th and we went off out with the Pledger Coleys for an outing to our local farm, Standalone in Letchworth. We’ve got season tickets which makes short trips such good value and its perfect to pop in for an outing if you’re… Continue reading The farm and the woods: Country Kids
The Pob’s 27 monther is late but what can you do when you’re struggling to finish renovating a house, care for a newborn and go about your dailies… So The Pob is officially two and a quarter. He is very testing right now. He’s wanting to do absolutely everything ‘mineself’. Top frustrating things so far… Continue reading The Pob’s 27 monther, a boy
Here is my chocolate orange Mary Berry bake in action. I have to say it tasted awesome! We had a little party for Lucy for her 32nd birthday involving bug hunts, trampoline jumping, fish and chip eating and The Pob declaring ‘I coont want my ice cream mummy, it’s rubbish’ at the dinner table…
The Dog adores milky muzzies to snuggle. Having firmly opted out of a dummy (his choice) he’s a muzzy sucker. Snoozing at lunchtime in his swinging chair.
This afternoon we went for a ramble in Campton woods amidst the carvings. Played pooh trunks sticks on the bridge and just had a nice pootle. With Aunty Tamie and Uncle Eddie, The Coleys and Jamie and Martha. The Pob is chuffed to have his Aunty and Uncle here.
Today I went to Tesco and bout a Thomas tilt and balance scooter for a bargain £15. The offer wasn’t on online, only instore. I love Tesco! I’ve been wanting to get one for a while, I worry, with lack of scooting or cycling areas at home that he won’t ‘get it’. We still have… Continue reading 2013 365 20th August ‘the boy can scoot’
This morning we went for breakfast with Tam (MrSlender’s sister) and her husband, Edd. They live in Melbourne, Australia. Even though we haven’t seen them for two years and, with two small children, it’s hard to regularly Skype, it’s just the same. I think that’s when you know you’ve married in to the right family!… Continue reading 2013 365 19th August ‘a morning coffee’
Last week we went to Diggerland in Kent. I’d been telling The Pob about it for a few days so by the morning of the trip he was very excited. ‘Whats today’ I said ‘DIGGERLAND Mummy, go now…?’ Off we trundled (sans sat nav). From Bedfordshire the nearest is Kent and although we had to… Continue reading Have boy: must go to Diggerland (Country kids)
